WEEK 9: PRESENTATION DAY

This is the day where all of us need to present on our Assignment 2 project. After submitting the written assignment, we then needed to present on each of our project on using the Web 2.0 tools in Science teaching. Our group had chosen Social Networking Facebook as a platform to teach about Solar System, and we are the 4th group. The main idea is to use applications which can be found in Facebook. Yet we have manage to use only the Quiz application on that presentation. Thanks to Prof. because she gave us the second chance to improve our educational website.




The other 3 groups presented have to present on their chosen platform:
Group 1: BLOG

This group chose blog for teaching about ‘Endangered Species’. This gave us ideas on how to integrate the applications if we are using blog for our future teaching.
Group 2: WIKIS

This group chose Google site as it is good and flexible to be designed. This is suitable to be used for teaching and learning as it could meet the needs of primary school students.

Group 3: INSTANT MESSAGING

This group chose to use instant messaging as an after class activity. This is applicable in order for students to get immediate feedback from teacher and also their peers. Besides that, it could help teacher to improve their teaching for the next class.
